Responsibilities
- Develop, build, deploy, and maintain performant frontend applications and user interfaces.
- Analyze application requirements, identify technical concerns, and create actionable implementation plans.
- Collaborate with Agile team members across Romania and the United States.
- Use AWS infrastructure to design solutions that optimize product delivery.
- Maintain legacy applications and resolve defects across the OPIS code base.
- Apply frontend best practices, clean-code standards, and CI/CD practices.
- Translate Figma designs into accessible, functional interfaces and contribute to design-system standardization.
Requirements
- 4 to 5 years of hands-on experience in a similar software development role.
- Strong proficiency in React, JavaScript, TypeScript, Redux, and Next.js.
- Expertise with Emotion, component libraries, design systems, Storybook, and accessibility standards.
- Experience writing unit tests with Jest and React Testing Library.
- Good understanding of SQL Server or PostgreSQL relational databases.
- Knowledge of managing AWS assets, preferably using Terraform or YAML pipelines.
- Familiarity with C# and the Microsoft .NET framework for supporting and transitioning legacy systems.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming principles and security best practices.
- Preferred experience with Node.js, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, Redis, GraphQL, complex API integrations, SolarWinds, RedGate, Git, TFVC, and AI productivity tools.
