Base Salary
$243k - $295k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with Data Science, Product, and Engineering to define the data ontology for Roblox.
- Lead and mentor a team of Data Engineers to support evolving data needs.
- Design, build, and maintain efficient batch and streaming data pipelines.
- Develop scalable frameworks and tooling to automate analytics workflows.
- Establish and promote standard methodologies for data operations and lifecycle management.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building scalable ETL pipelines using tools like Airflow or Google Cloud Composer.
- 3+ years of experience leading data engineering development with business or data science partners.
- Experience with Multi-Terabyte data sets and debugging large scale analytics challenges.
- Familiarity with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Experience developing or enhancing ETL orchestration tools or frameworks.
- Proficient in GitOps workflows including branch and merge, PRs, and CI/CD systems.
