Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-quality Infrastructure as Code templates and modules for use by software engineers.
- Implement AWS multi-account core infrastructure and promote security best practices across the cloud estate.
- Author and optimize CI/CD templates so engineers can release frequently.
- Design and implement a developer portal with a service catalog and DevOps plugins.
- Contribute to observability practices and provide SLI/SLO metric reporting to balance velocity and reliability.
- Develop internal and open-source projects that improve the engineering team’s developer experience.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of AWS services including ECS, EC2, Lambda, VPC, IAM, Route 53, CloudFront, S3, and RDS.
- Understanding of monitoring and logging solutions, with OpenTelemetry, AWS CloudWatch, and SigNoz experience considered a bonus.
- Basic SRE knowledge and experience with alerting and incident management platforms such as incident.io and PagerDuty.
- Proven ability to provide and support strong, scalable CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Linux, Git, Docker, and scripting in Python, Bash, or Go, with proficiency in at least one modern programming language.
- Experience defining Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Knowledge of Agile development practices and enthusiasm for platform engineering and developer experience.
- Previous fintech experience is a bonus.
