Responsibilities
- Develop backend platform applications and proof-of-concepts to identify and mitigate risks early.
- Build APIs using Node.js, TypeScript, REST, GraphQL, and WebSockets.
- Implement AWS cloud-native and serverless infrastructure using the Serverless Framework and AWS CDK.
- Participate in peer code reviews and help direct junior developers.
- Participate in PI planning and identify technology challenges related to Epics and Stories.
- Ensure non-functional requirements and Carrier standards compliance are met.
- Implement alerts and monitoring to support smooth operations.
- Optimize cloud costs and secure AWS services.
- Develop unit and integration tests using Jest.
Requirements
- 6–10 years of overall experience in the software domain.
- At least 4 years of experience developing cloud-native applications on AWS.
- Solid working knowledge of TypeScript and Node.js.
- Experience executing CI/CD processes and developing APIs.
- Knowledge of AWS IoT Core and in-depth knowledge of Kinesis, DynamoDB, Lambda, API Gateway, Timestream, SQS, SNS, and CloudWatch.
- Solid understanding of creating AWS infrastructure using the Serverless Framework or AWS CDK.
- Experience implementing alerts and monitoring, cloud cost optimization, and AWS service security.
- Solid understanding of the Jest framework, unit testing, and integration testing.
- BE, B.Tech, M.Tech, or MCA qualification.
