Responsibilities
- Design robust architectures for strategic automotive customer use cases.
- Engage internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements and derive solution architectures.
- Communicate architecture solutions to engineering, product, sales, management, and customer audiences.
- Guide and mentor engineering teams to implement solutions aligned with the architecture.
- Address performance, scalability, security, privacy, fault tolerance, latency, and critical data pipeline requirements.
- Analyze customer requirements from channels such as RFx and support projects from nomination through solution delivery.
- Define architecture processes and drive key performance indicators for real-time map updates and map delivery ecosystems.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience delivering software products or systems in various roles.
- Subject matter expertise in software-defined vehicle solutions for navigation and/or automated driving systems.
- Deep knowledge of AD systems, ADAS, connected cars, automotive positioning, vehicle sensor data, environmental model building, or SLAM algorithms for autonomous driving.
- Experience with automotive software, map data, Navigation Data Standard, vehicle E/E architectures, connected vehicles, and map delivery ecosystems.
- Prior software engineering experience building customer-facing products or systems and managing stakeholders.
- Experience with automotive industry engagement models and RFx procedures involving OEMs.
- Familiarity with industry standards and related regulations.
- Experience with digital map products, crowdsourced data products, big data analysis, or cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is advantageous.
