Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deploy, and scale cloud-based infrastructure projects and shared services for Privileged Access Management products.
- Drive the evaluation, development, and rollout of microservices.
- Operate, support, upgrade, monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize owned services and frameworks.
- Design scalable, redundant, and multi-tenant systems through architecture and code reviews.
- Write unit and functional tests and maintain high software engineering standards.
- Evaluate system performance, resolve bottlenecks, and scale systems for evolving business requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
- Collaborate with architects, QA, product owners, security engineers, and operations engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- 5+ years of extensive programming experience in Go, Java, or C++, with backend services experience; Go is preferred.
- Proven experience architecting, deploying, and optimizing scalable cloud infrastructure using Kubernetes and AWS container environments.
- Hands-on experience with large-scale cloud deployments and cloud building blocks such as infrastructure as code, observability, secrets management, CI/CD pipelines, secure coding, and compliance.
- Experience building and integrating REST APIs.
- Experience with AWS, Redis, Elasticsearch or OpenSearch, Kinesis, Kafka, and Docker.
- Knowledge of network security, authentication, and authorization.
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
- Familiarity with Agile software development processes.

- Annual base salary range of $136,000–$187,000 CAD for candidates located in Canada.
