Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of technology projects and a team of developers working on distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
- Design and implement large-scale, distributed, cloud-native systems with high reliability and performance requirements.
- Provide technical leadership across multiple teams and shape system architecture and long-term technology direction.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and product leaders to deliver cloud-based solutions and define platform roadmaps and shared-services strategy.
- Mentor engineers, drive professional development, and influence technology strategy, coding standards, design patterns, and enterprise-wide technical standards.
- Use observability and reliability practices to identify and optimize performance bottlenecks in distributed systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or a related quantitative field such as statistics, economics, operations research, analytics, mathematics, or engineering.
- At least 6 years of software engineering experience, excluding internship experience.
- At least 3 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, 9+ years coding with multiple listed languages, experience with open-source frameworks, front-end frameworks, APIs, databases, cloud platforms, infrastructure as code, automated testing, Git-based version control, observability, and distributed systems.
- Preferred experience includes mentoring senior engineers, leading architectural design reviews, establishing coding standards, implementing reliability practices, influencing technology strategy, and leading large-scale technical initiatives.
- Experience with modern AI-based coding tools, IDE copilots, and interactive AI tooling beyond basic code completion.
