Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deliver scalable, reliable, and secure cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
- Build, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters using Spinnaker and Helm.
- Set up monitoring and alerting with Splunk or ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, and Alertmanager.
- Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Build infrastructure-as-code solutions and automation tools for reliable, repeatable infrastructure service delivery.
- Troubleshoot application, network, system, and performance issues in production during on-call rotations.
- Collaborate with software engineers, quality engineers, site reliability engineers, business leaders, and distributed cross-functional teams to define and implement technical requirements.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience designing and building resilient, large-scale, low-latency cloud and on-premises infrastructure, including compute, storage, and networking.
- Deep expertise building, deploying, and managing Kubernetes clusters with Spinnaker and Helm.
- Experience with monitoring using Splunk or ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, and Alertmanager.
- Experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Experience with cloud architecture, reliable and secure infrastructure as code, and infrastructure automation.
- Experience with Cassandra, MongoDB, Couchbase, AWS S3, or similar storage technologies is preferred.
- Experience deploying and supporting Java applications is preferred.
- Deep understanding of DNS, TCP, HTTP, and HTTPS networking protocols.
- Experience with Linux shell scripting, Python, and Terraform.
- Excellent problem-solving, critical-thinking, and interpersonal skills.
- BS or MS in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
