Responsibilities
- Deploy, manage, and secure Ivanti’s production SaaS environments in AWS and Azure.
- Automate common and repetitive operational tasks and improve infrastructure and deployment processes.
- Support observability, release automation, chaos engineering, reliability, scalability, and compliance improvements.
- Troubleshoot code, application servers, databases, load balancers, operating systems, networks, storage, and infrastructure issues.
- Participate in follow-the-sun 24x7 on-call rotations for incident response, issue triage, and problem resolution.
- Write documentation and training materials, train colleagues, mentor junior team members, and contribute to knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Lead one or more well-defined projects and independently manage SRE ticket triage and resolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 3 years of relevant industry experience.
- Proficiency with Python and experience with Java, Golang, or C#.
- Programmatic proficiency with Bash or PowerShell.
- Experience with AWS or Azure, Java and .NET application troubleshooting, network and storage infrastructure troubleshooting, Linux distributions, and Windows.
- Experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, or similar technologies.
- Ability to configure and fine-tune HAProxy, Apache, Nginx, IIS, or similar technologies.
- Ability to configure monitoring tools such as New Relic, Datadog, or Splunk.
- Familiarity with container orchestration technologies such as AWS EKS or Azure AKS.
- Experience with deployment pipeline tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions, and proficiency developing Infrastructure as Code.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills for global collaboration.
- Preferred qualifications include prior Site Reliability Engineer or DevOps Engineer experience, relevant cloud, Kubernetes, Linux, or software engineering certifications, and familiarity with SOC 2 Type 2, ISO-27001, FedRAMP, IRAP, GDPR, or PIPEDA.
