Base Salary
$69k - $147k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, test, debug, and support full-stack web applications using the MERN stack and SQL.
- Collaborate with lead developers, teammates, clients, and internal stakeholders to define requirements, communicate project plans, and deliver technical solutions.
- Provide technical support, including escalated help desk support, monitor support trends, and recommend system improvements.
- Manage source code with Git and promote branching, merging, pull requests, and version-control best practices.
- Deploy and maintain applications on AWS infrastructure, including EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS.
- Document and validate business requirements and translate them into actionable requirements and functional specifications.
- Follow best practices for application security, documentation, testing, performance, and ongoing system improvement.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional full-stack web development experience focused on MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.
- Strong proficiency with SQL databases, including complex query writing and database design.
- Hands-on experience with Git version control and collaborative workflows.
- Practical knowledge of AWS cloud services and deployment best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Preferred experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD automation, TypeScript, additional modern JavaScript frameworks, and AI-driven development tools.
- Preferred knowledge of property and casualty insurance and claims processes, or advanced analytics experience with Excel, Power BI, and R Shiny.
