Responsibilities
- Lead the functional and technical delivery workstream, including platform modernization and delivery of high-quality technology solutions.
- Perform hands-on Java development and maintenance of the UDW platform.
- Design, implement, test, and support solutions based on business requirements.
- Provide technical, architectural, and development guidance to junior team members.
- Collaborate with global business and technology stakeholders on requirements, solutions, testing, and status updates.
- Propose and implement strategic and tactical solutions for business and technical problems.
- Perform unit testing and support SIT, UAT, and regression testing.
- Provide L3 support and follow organizational and team-level processes and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related technical or quantitative field.
- 13+ years of experience working with Java 8 or above.
- Experience with Spring, Spring Boot, JUnit, and mocking frameworks.
- Expertise with Maven, Jenkins, Git, and Ansible.
- In-depth knowledge of object-oriented programming principles.
- Ability to work with Linux and Windows servers.
- Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, problem-solving, initiative, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Desirable experience with Spark, Parquet, Dremio, GemFire, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes, Ingress Controller, AWS, and ActivePivot.
- Knowledge of investment banking and capital markets is desirable.
