Responsibilities
- Design, provision, and operate AWS, Kubernetes, and bare-metal infrastructure for development, simulation, and testing workloads.
- Own infrastructure-as-code and provisioning pipelines using Terraform and Ansible to create reproducible, version-controlled environments.
- Build and maintain CI/CD, internal tooling, and self-service workflows for hardware, software, and compiler engineering teams.
- Optimize networking, including VLANs, firewalls, VPNs, and low-latency/high-bandwidth fabrics, as well as storage performance.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, capacity planning, and reliability improvements across hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.
- Implement cloud IAM, secrets management, data protection, network segmentation, and workload isolation for sensitive engineering environments.
- Identify and resolve infrastructure bottlenecks, manual processes, and reliability gaps.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in infrastructure, platform, or DevOps/SRE engineering with end-to-end systems ownership experience.
- Strong infrastructure-as-code and automation skills with Terraform, Ansible, Python, and Bash.
- Solid networking fundamentals and hands-on experience with AWS.
- Experience operating across hybrid cloud and on-premises or bare-metal environments.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure security, including IAM, secrets management, network security, and system hardening.
- Ability to diagnose complex cross-layer issues and communicate infrastructure trade-offs effectively with hardware and compiler engineers.
