Responsibilities
- Design, provision, and operate Kubernetes and bare-metal infrastructure for development, simulation, and testing workloads.
- Own Terraform-based infrastructure-as-code and provisioning pipelines for reproducible, version-controlled environments.
- Build and maintain CI/CD systems, internal tooling, and self-service developer workflows.
- Optimize VLANs, firewalls, VPNs, networking fabrics, and storage for ML and hardware workloads.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, capacity planning, and reliability improvements across hybrid cloud and on-prem environments.
- Implement identity and access management, secrets management, data protection, threat detection, and infrastructure hardening.
- Identify and resolve infrastructure bottlenecks, manual processes, and reliability gaps.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure, platform, DevOps, or SRE engineering with end-to-end systems ownership.
- Strong infrastructure-as-code and automation skills using Terraform, Ansible, Python, and Bash.
- Solid networking fundamentals and experience with hybrid cloud and on-premises or bare-metal environments.
- Strong understanding of IAM, secrets management, network security, and hardening across cloud and self-hosted systems.
- Ability to diagnose complex cross-layer issues and communicate infrastructure trade-offs with hardware and ML engineers.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
