Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain security controls for AI, ML, and generative AI solutions.
- Assess AI-enabled applications, models, and services for vulnerabilities, threats, and misconfigurations.
- Participate in AI threat modeling, security-control testing, risk monitoring, and remediation planning.
- Support AI governance activities such as model inventory management, risk assessments, and policy compliance.
- Evaluate security technologies for AI systems, data pipelines, and cloud-native AI environments.
- Assist with AI-related security investigations, incident response, disaster recovery, and business continuity testing.
- Document findings, recommendations, and remediation activities according to security and compliance processes.
- Collaborate with security, data science, engineering, compliance, IT, and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 1–3 years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud security, application security, AI engineering, MLOps, or related technology disciplines.
- Foundational knowledge of AI/ML concepts, LLMs, generative AI, and related security risks.
- Familiarity with prompt injection, model abuse, data poisoning, model theft, adversarial attacks, and secure AI development practices.
- Basic understanding of Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud and cloud security principles.
- Knowledge of EDR, SIEM, vulnerability management, IAM, and security monitoring technologies.
- Preferred experience includes AI/ML development, MLOps, generative AI, cloud-native AI services, AI governance, scripting, security assessments, or cybersecurity projects.
- Preferred certifications include Security+, SC-900, AZ-900, AI-900, SC-200, SC-300, CCSK, GIAC foundational certifications, or other relevant cybersecurity, cloud, or AI security certifications.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, judgment, professionalism, and confidentiality skills.
