Responsibilities

  • Lead technical validation for IT and service-team opportunities from discovery through proof, demonstrations, and close.
  • Map IT and service-management workflows to Asana Service Management and create practical solution designs.
  • Conduct technical discovery, whiteboard sessions, workshops, and tailored product demonstrations.
  • Advise customers on solution architecture, integrations, administration considerations, and deployment approach.
  • Partner with Account Executives, Customer Success Managers, and Solutions Engineers on expansion opportunities.
  • Build repeatable demo assets, solution patterns, technical collateral, enablement materials, and best practices.
  • Surface customer feedback, objections, and product gaps to Product, Product Marketing, and Sales leadership.
  • Help shape product evolution, technical positioning, roadmap feedback, and go-to-market strategy.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Solutions Consulting, Sales Engineering, or similar customer-facing technical roles.
  • Strong understanding of IT and service-team personas, service-delivery workflows, operational pain points, and the systems these teams use.
  • Ability to conduct discovery, product demonstrations, workshops, and whiteboard sessions for technical and executive audiences.
  • Ability to explain LLMs, AI agents, integrations, workflow design, data structures, permissions, and automation concepts.
  • Familiarity with ITIL, service catalog design, SLA frameworks, and incident/request workflows.
  • Experience with ITSM, ESM, ticketing, knowledge-management, identity, or workflow-automation tools.
  • Background supporting displacement or migration conversations from legacy enterprise software.
  • Understanding of AI-powered automation, self-service experiences, and employee service-delivery use cases.
  • Comfort with modern sales and demo tooling and with building scalable technical content.
  • Strong collaboration, adaptability, intellectual curiosity, and builder mentality.
