Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical point of contact for accounts in your assigned territory.
- Understand customers’ goals and articulate how Elastic's offerings meet their needs.
- Build and maintain value-based relationships at all levels within customer organizations.
- Participate in all phases of planning and execution from discovery to technical win.
- Demonstrate Elastic products and solutions in sales meetings and events.
- Advise the sales team on effective positioning of Elastic products.
- Onboard and educate partners, supporting them in sales cycles.
- Craft collateral and collaborate with other team members to meet client needs.
- Communicate customer and community needs to engineering and leadership teams.
- Enhance sales and technical skills through professional development opportunities.
Requirements
- Proven success in a technical presales role with experience in selling and implementing technology.
- Ability to articulate and sell the benefits of modern platforms and technologies.
- Passion for continuous learning and self-improvement.
- Experience in developing customer relations and devising effective architectures.
- Strong influencing skills with a history of convincing teams of ideas or technologies.
- Ability to inspire groups, both large and small.
- Willingness to travel 40% within the region and occasionally internationally.
