Responsibilities
- Develop test plans and specifications for ADAS features including LDW, LKA, ACC, AEB, FCW, BSD, and RCW.
- Design and execute MIL, SIL, and HIL validation campaigns for ADAS algorithms and ECU software.
- Build, configure, and maintain HIL test benches for sensor simulation and actuator emulation.
- Develop MATLAB Simulink test harnesses and automated regression testing for ADAS functions.
- Implement automated test frameworks using Python, CAPL, or Robot Framework within CI/CD pipelines.
- Validate sensor fusion and perception outputs, including object detection, tracking, false positives, false negatives, and robustness across ODD scenarios.
- Perform fault injection and negative testing for ISO 26262 ASIL B/C safety mechanisms.
- Analyze test results, manage defects, and maintain requirements traceability.
- Support ASPICE SWE4, SWE5, SWE6, SYS4, and SYS5 compliance documentation.
- Participate in vehicle-level ADAS validation, drive-test data analysis, ground-truth annotation, performance assessment, and NCAP benchmarking.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience is required, with at least 3 years of automotive ECU software experience stated in the additional information.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or Automotive Engineering, with 15 years of full-time education required.
- Strong experience in ADAS verification and validation across MIL, SIL, and HIL environments.
- Hands-on experience with HIL platforms such as dSPACE SCALEXIO, Micro Auto Box II, NI VeriStand, or Vector CANoe RT.
- Proficiency with MATLAB Simulink for model-based testing, test automation, and regression framework development.
- Understanding of ISO 26262 software and system testing for ASIL B/C safety-critical systems.
- Experience with ADAS data logging and analysis tools including ADTF, DLT Viewer, and Rosbag.
- Knowledge of SOTIF, ISO 21448, and scenario-based ADAS validation.
- Experience with requirements management and traceability tools including Polarion Codebeamer, IBM DOORS NG, or Jama Connect.
- Familiarity with OpenSCENARIO and OpenDRIVE standards.
- Exposure to virtual validation environments such as CARLA, IPG CarMaker, or rFpro.
- Understanding of Euro NCAP and NHTSA ADAS validation protocols.
- Working knowledge of Python data-analysis libraries including Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib.
- Experience with CAN and CAN FD network analysis using Vector CANalyzer, CANoe, or equivalent tools.
