Base Salary

$67k - $137k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements and design, develop, integrate, test, deploy, and support distributed software applications.
  • Deliver engineering solutions throughout the project lifecycle using agile development practices.
  • Build full-stack applications and platforms using cloud-native and microservices architectures.
  • Collaborate with client engagement teams to modernize systems, processes, products, and customer-facing platforms.
  • Provide recommendations on technology environments, industry trends, engagement issues, and client service issues.
  • Deliver reliable, high-quality systems with a strong customer experience focus.
  • Work with modern development, testing, integration, and deployment tools and technologies.
  • Travel up to 30% of the time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in technology software development.
  • Backend experience with Java, Python, Node.js, REST, NoSQL, microservices, serverless, and cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure.
  • Frontend development experience with React, Angular, or responsive web design.
  • Experience designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Hands-on experience building applications or platforms with cloud-native and microservices architectures, including IaaS, PaaS, and container deployment.
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and unit and integration testing.
  • Knowledge of TDD or BDD software development techniques and comfort working in an Agile and TDD environment.
  • Experience with multiple programming languages and the ability to work effectively with diverse client engagement teams.
  • Preferred experience with Akka, Scala, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch, AngularJS, ReactJS, Hadoop, Spark, Flume, Mongo, Cassandra, or other NoSQL databases.
  • Strong computer science background, intellectual curiosity, self-direction, quick learning, and a commitment to ethical standards and integrity.
