Base Salary
$67k - $137k/yr
Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and design, develop, integrate, test, deploy, and support distributed software applications.
- Build full-stack software products and cloud-native applications using backend, frontend, API, microservices, and cloud technologies.
- Deliver engineering solutions across the full project lifecycle, from requirements definition through testing and deployment.
- Collaborate with client engagement teams and provide recommendations on technology environments, trends, and client service issues.
- Develop reliable, high-quality systems that improve customer and business experiences.
- Work in an Agile, TDD, and collaborative development environment while managing changing priorities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in technology software development.
- Backend development experience with Java, Python, Node.js, NoSQL, microservices, serverless, and cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure.
- Frontend development experience with modern frameworks and practices such as React, Angular, or responsive web design.
- Experience designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Hands-on experience building applications or platforms with cloud-native and microservices architectures, including IaaS, PaaS, and container deployment.
- Experience with collaborative development tools, testing frameworks, unit and integration testing, and TDD or BDD techniques.
- Preferred experience with Akka, Scala, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch, AngularJS, ReactJS, Hadoop, Spark, Flume, MongoDB, Cassandra, or other NoSQL databases.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse client teams, learn quickly, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
