Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions for digital products and services.
- Evaluate solution concepts and explain proposed architecture decisions.
- Provide technical architecture oversight for project timelines, budgets, governance, and implementation strategy.
- Define standardized technology patterns that support scale, stability, and consistency.
- Present architecture recommendations and project findings to business stakeholders.
- Enforce technology development, deployment, maintenance, and governance policies and frameworks.
- Oversee hiring and training of team members.
- Partner with product managers, designers, and quality assurance professionals to maintain project alignment.
- Drive projects forward, identify and mitigate technical risks, and resolve technical or managerial challenges.
- Promote innovation and continuous improvement across the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a STEM major.
- At least 8 years of experience designing cloud infrastructure with commercial or enterprise products.
- Experience designing and deploying AI-enabled business solutions using LLMs, RAG, AI agents, enterprise data architecture, security, governance, and cloud AI platforms.
- Knowledge of cloud compute, networking, cybersecurity, container engines, databases, storage, and CI/CD.
- Experience with AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, Python, Java, PowerShell, AWS CodeBuild, AWS CodeDeploy, and GitHub Actions.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code development.
- Strong communication skills for working with stakeholders, team members, and other departments.
- Ability to address and resolve technical and managerial challenges.
