Base Salary
$205k - $236k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical direction of software development efforts across multiple teams.
- Evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, processes, and engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with customers and systems engineers to define and implement software development methodologies.
- Oversee software quality, testing, and release activities throughout the development lifecycle.
- Coordinate development and testing across teams, assign work, and monitor progress.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to software engineers.
- Identify technical risks, resolve challenges, and communicate project status to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, or four additional years of experience in place of the degree.
- 20 years of experience in software development.
- Experience leading multiple software development teams or large-scale software engineering efforts.
- Experience evaluating and implementing software development processes and engineering best practices.
- Experience overseeing software quality assurance, testing, and release activities.
- Ability to coordinate technical work across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Experience mentoring engineers and providing technical leadership.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, and the software development lifecycle.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Active Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance with polygraph.
- U.S. citizenship; green card holders and permanent residents are not eligible.
- Ability to obtain or maintain a government security clearance.
