Base Salary
$135k - $206k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop analytics using Apache Flink for a new big data streaming analytics platform.
- Support a critical mission system with hundreds of active users.
- Work in a full-stack environment with a focus on analytic development.
- Rapidly develop and deploy patches and updates to an existing system.
- Participate in requirements gathering, design, and deployment while collaborating with analysts.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance with polygraph is required.
- U.S. citizenship is required, and applicants must obtain or maintain a government security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or an additional two years of experience in place of the degree.
- Six years of software development experience.
- Experience with Java and Docker.
- Experience with streaming data frameworks such as Flink, Spring Cloud Data Flow, or Heron.
- Experience with version control systems including Git or SVN.
- Willingness to obtain an approved certification, including AWS Certified Developer—Associate, AWS Certified Machine Learning—Associate or Specialty, AWS DevOps Engineer Professional, or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer.
- Familiarity with agency data flow formats and standards.
- Willingness to work on a small expert team and take on tasks across requirements, design, and deployment.
