Base Salary
$138k - $184k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and manage services for large-scale data ingestion, storage, querying, and retrieval.
- Architect, design, and implement features that advance the platform's overall architecture.
- Develop and maintain reliable, scalable cloud-native user interfaces and underlying services.
- Contribute to distributed systems and global cloud architecture innovation for cybersecurity products.
- Take accountability for software behavior in production and continuously improve the technology stack and product features.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, designers, and stakeholders to iterate on products and drive consensus.
- Support and mentor peers inside and outside the team and lead technically complex projects.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of enterprise software development experience and a desire to lead.
- Experience developing software in distributed, microservice-based architectures.
- Experience with database performance tuning, schema design, and query optimization.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a directly related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience developing in Java or Kotlin and willingness to learn additional languages.
- Experience with containerized services running in Kubernetes.
- Experience developing core libraries, infrastructure, and search engines.
- Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and Elasticsearch.
- Experience with event-driven systems such as Kafka, SQS, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies.
- Experience coaching and leading mid-level and junior staff on highly technical development projects.
- Experience working collaboratively within product teams and independently driving projects.
- Cross-platform development experience is preferred.
