Base Salary
$138k - $184k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable cloud-native user interfaces and underlying microservices.
- Build and manage services for large-scale data ingestion, storage, querying, and retrieval.
- Architect, design, and implement platform features and help drive the overall architecture.
- Contribute to innovation in global cloud architecture and distributed systems for cybersecurity products.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, designers, and stakeholders to iterate on products and drive consensus.
- Coach and mentor peers and support technical project leadership.
Requirements
- 4+ years of software development experience in enterprise development.
- Experience with distributed and containerized microservice architectures, including Kubernetes.
- Experience with database performance tuning, schema design, query optimization, and databases such as PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and Elasticsearch.
- Experience developing in Java or Kotlin and willingness to learn additional languages.
- Experience developing core libraries, infrastructure, and search engines.
- Experience coaching and leading mid-level and junior staff on highly technical development projects.
- Experience with event-driven systems such as Kafka, SQS, or RabbitMQ.
- A B.S. degree in Computer Science or a directly related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Cross-platform development experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, lead projects, take accountability for production software, and continuously learn.
