Responsibilities

  • Build and ship real product features used by customers, including a full-stack feature in Ambrook’s core product.
  • Help improve the company’s infrastructure, development process, and codebase alongside experienced engineers.
  • Participate in engineering meetings, review peer code, and document opportunities to improve technical practices.
  • Break projects into granular tasks and triage and prioritize incoming issues.
  • Collaborate with Product to influence feature prioritization using customer and audience insights.
  • Develop an understanding of farm finance, farm operations, sustainability practices, and customer needs.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a B.S. or higher in Computer Science or a related field, with expected graduation between Winter 2026 and Spring/Summer 2027.
  • Available to work full-time in the New York City office for 12–16 weeks between May and August 2026.
  • Strong computer science fundamentals and eagerness to learn.
  • Ability to take on ambiguous problems and create elegant technical solutions.
  • Bonus experience with TypeScript, React, React Native, and/or Next.js.
  • Bonus track record of building and shipping complex software projects.
  • Bonus experience in agriculture.
