Base Salary
$116k - $183k/yr
Responsibilities
- Support infrastructure that development teams use to own and operate their services.
- Build and maintain standardized, scalable internal developer infrastructure platform capabilities.
- Develop systems for CI/CD, observability, Kubernetes optimization, environment bootstrapping, and cloud cost optimization.
- Create Claude skills and agentic workflows that improve developer productivity.
- Guide technical decisions, platform adoption, team members, and engineering standards.
- Create platform features, write proposals and decision briefs, and resolve unclear urgent tasks.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration for effective platform delivery.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience with expertise in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, SRE, or DevOps.
- Proven technical leadership experience.
- Expertise in several of ArgoCD, Grafana, Kubernetes, GitHub, Terraform, Helm, Backstage, or cloud cost optimization.
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or Go.
- Strong expertise in cloud-native technologies, with GCP preferred and AWS acceptable.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to align technology with user and organizational needs.
- Bonus qualifications include distributed systems architecture, cloud security and governance, agentic workflows, databases, and internal developer platform experience.
