Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of digital products and applications.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve operational issues and bugs.
- Implement minor code changes to improve application performance and efficiency.
- Monitor application performance against established benchmarks and criteria.
- Collaborate with software engineers, platform development, and site reliability teams.
- Maintain documentation of operational activities, challenges, and resolutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
- At least two years of professional experience in an application operations engineering role.
- Proficiency in at least one of C#, Java, Python, or TypeScript.
- Experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS or Azure, including cloud infrastructure services.
- Familiarity with relational and NoSQL database systems and their operational querying, adjustment, and optimization.
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, adaptability, and verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and with cross-functional technical and non-technical teams.
