Responsibilities
- Design and productionize agentic AI frameworks for complex tasks.
- Lead the end-to-end design of ML systems from fine-tuning to production monitoring.
- Establish safety, alignment, and evaluation frameworks for autonomous systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate user needs into AI capabilities.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to Dropbox's AI strategy.
Requirements
- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 5+ years in production-scale AI/ML systems.
- Professional experience in ML modeling for complex systems like Search or Recommender Systems.
- Deep familiarity with LLM architectures and experience with ML libraries like PyTorch or JAX.
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience with systems languages like Go or C/C++.
- Extensive experience with large-scale distributed data systems and high-throughput environments.
- Exceptional analytical skills and a bias to action in navigating technical challenges.
