Responsibilities
- Discover and build Glean’s next generation of product surfaces through 0-to-1 product creation.
- Lead deep opportunity discovery with forward deployed product managers and strategic customers.
- Partner technically with C-suite stakeholders to define solutions, explain tradeoffs, and manage risks.
- Design, build, test, and ship new production software to solve previously unmet customer problems.
- Scale successful solutions by working with core R&D teams to make products repeatable and scalable.
- Collaborate with Glean’s engineering and product teams to influence platform capabilities and future product development.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in technical roles with a track record of shipping production software.
- Production experience delivering AI-powered solutions, including prompt engineering, agent development, evaluation frameworks, and deployment at scale.
- Strong full-stack programming skills and a deep understanding of enterprise systems.
- Ability to identify customer problems, form product hypotheses, and connect business needs to buildable solutions.
- Ability to build trust with executives and communicate technical concepts clearly at different levels of depth.
- Experience building production software from scratch in ambiguous environments and delivering products used by real people at scale.
- Willingness to travel 25–50%.
- Preferred: experience as a founder, at a top-tier technology company, or in a forward deployed engineering role.
- Preferred: a technical degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
- Preferred: deep familiarity with LLMs, retrieval systems, and evaluation frameworks.
- Preferred: experience driving technology adoption inside large enterprises.
