Base Salary
$155k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Embed with business users to understand workflows, data, and systems and identify high-return AI opportunities.
- Own technical architecture and lead build-versus-buy decisions and vendor evaluations.
- Write, test, deploy, and support production integrations, agents, and workflows using retrieval, tool use, and human review.
- Improve AI reliability by identifying failure cases and determining where human control is required.
- Partner with IT, Security, and Engineering on model access, identity, permissions, data connectivity, observability, and evaluation.
- Create reusable components and measure business outcomes such as hours saved, cost avoided, and cycle-time reduction.
- Train operators and power users so deployed systems continue running and improving.
Requirements
- 4+ years building, shipping, and supporting production software.
- 2+ years building LLM systems in production, including agents, retrieval, tool calling such as MCP, and context engineering.
- Strong coding ability in Python or TypeScript/JavaScript, including writing, testing, reviewing, and deploying code.
- Fluency with APIs, webhooks, data pipelines, authentication, OAuth, SSO, and role-based access.
- Daily experience using coding agents and validating their output.
- Ability to work directly with nontechnical users and translate unfamiliar, messy business processes into working software.
- Judgment in security- and compliance-sensitive environments, including appropriate handling of restricted data.
- Clear written and spoken communication, including the ability to make a technical and business case to executives.
- Preferred experience in forward-deployed engineering, product management, early-stage engineering, or enterprise platform integrations.
- Preferred experience with Salesforce, Microsoft 365, NetSuite, Jira, Databricks, SOX, FedRAMP, security, or PKI environments.
