Responsibilities
- Build and maintain data architectures and pipelines for transferring and processing durable, complete, and consistent data.
- Design and implement data warehouses and data lakes that support required data volumes, velocity, and security measures.
- Develop processing and analysis algorithms for complex and high-volume data.
- Design, develop, and maintain large-scale applications using Java, Spring Boot, React.js, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop unit tests, implement scalable solutions, integrate stakeholder systems, and solve complex business issues using AWS.
- Automate infrastructure and delivery using tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, Jenkins, Bitbucket, and GitLab.
- Collaborate with data scientists to build and deploy machine learning models.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, communicate complex information, and contribute to risk, controls, and governance activities.
Requirements
- Experience with Java, Python, Spring Boot, React.js, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience designing and building with AWS services including EC2, ECS, S3, Lambda, RDS, KMS, ELB, SNS, SQS, and IAM.
- Knowledge of automation and infrastructure-as-code tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Knowledge of cloud architecture and design, security compliance, Linux, networking, routing, and firewalls.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, or GitLab.
- Knowledge of Bash, PowerShell, Python, or Java programming and scripting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder-management, collaboration, mentoring, and team-success skills.
- Ability to work on complex technical problems and collaborate with engineers, business analysts, business stakeholders, data scientists, and other functions.
