Base Salary
$102k - $219k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, release, and support production software across multiple technology stacks.
- Build and maintain highly scaled services and client components for Android, Chrome, Windows, and the web.
- Safely release and support software used by millions of users.
- Collaborate with engineers and other disciplines to solve urgent customer problems.
- Improve team-wide engineering quality, efficiency, and culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field and 2+ years of technical engineering experience coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements.
- Ability to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire or transfer and every two years thereafter.
- Preferred: master’s degree plus 4+ years of technical engineering experience, or bachelor’s degree plus 4+ years, or equivalent experience.
Benefits
- U.S. base pay is listed at $102,100–$202,200 per year, with a different range for the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area.
- Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
