Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable backend solutions for flight-search business rules.
- Design and evolve robust APIs supporting flight-search workflows.
- Participate in architecture decisions focused on scalability and business growth.
- Own features end to end from design through deployment and production monitoring.
- Provide production support and resolve issues collaboratively with product, revenue, travel partner, and other stakeholder teams.
- Improve code quality through code reviews and engineering best practices.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience developing scalable backend solutions with end-to-end autonomy.
- Proficiency in Java and Spring/Spring Boot.
- Knowledge of non-relational databases including Cassandra and MongoDB.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies.
- Ability to design simple, traceable, and maintainable solutions.
- Experience with high-volume data and high-concurrency applications.
- Collaborative, proactive approach with ownership and continuous-learning mindset.
- Preferred: experience with AI tools, New Relic, Kibana, high-concurrency and high-traffic problem solving, Scala, or Node.js.
