Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable server-side applications using .NET and related technologies.
Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and designers to translate requirements into technical specifications.
Develop secure APIs and microservices for client applications and integrations.
Write clean, testable, maintainable, and documented code following development standards.
Test, debug, troubleshoot, and resolve backend application issues.
Optimize application performance and scalability through code, caching, and database improvements.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural and process improvements.
Monitor and resolve issues identified through system monitoring and logging.
Stay current with backend development tools and technologies.

Backend development experience with C# or similar languages.
Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services.
Knowledge of NoSQL, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server databases.
Experience designing and implementing distributed systems composed of multiple domain-oriented services.
Understanding of frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
Some experience or curiosity with technologies such as etcd, Consul, Redis, Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, gRPC, and Orleans.
Understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, software development practices, unit testing, and continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaborative skills.
