Responsibilities
- Integrate Snowflake with Azure AD and HashiCorp Vault.
- Integrate Snowflake monitoring with Splunk, Grafana, and Dynatrace.
- Work with Linux batch scheduling using Autosys or an equivalent tool.
- Apply FinOps concepts to optimize cost and performance.
- Administer Snowpark containers, Snowpipe Streaming, and Cortex AI services.
- Package new Snowflake features for enterprise use and validate disaster recovery and backup requirements.
- Collaborate with application teams on seamless integrations.
- Use GitLab, Bitbucket, and Jenkins for CI/CD workflows.
- Perform Snowflake and AWS administration using Terraform and Ansible.
- Provide escalated support and consulting, develop documentation and training materials, and support disaster recovery and operational rotations.
- Report defects and coordinate fixes with Snowflake.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Expertise administering Snowflake; SnowPro Core certification is preferred.
- SQL programming and relational database experience with Snowflake, Oracle, Microsoft SQL, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Proficiency with Python and Bash on Linux.
- Basic Terraform and Ansible skills.
- CI/CD experience with GitLab, Bitbucket, or Jenkins.
- Basic AWS IaaS skills; Azure or GCP experience is acceptable.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, JIRA, ITSM processes, and ServiceNow.
