Responsibilities
- Analyze software requirements, technology architectures, system interdependencies, and application stacks.
- Design and maintain automation frameworks and reusable libraries across business and technology stacks.
- Create test plans, test cases, scenarios, and usage cases for functional, regression, performance, and non-functional testing.
- Develop and execute automated tests and software validation processes using automated testing tools.
- Track test coverage, defects, resolutions, bug fixes, deployment risks, and quality metrics.
- Collaborate with development, Agile delivery, business, testing, support, and client teams.
- Help create acceptance criteria, manage automation backlogs, and improve continuous deployment practices.
- Perform backend/database programming for key projects.
- Document automation processes, test cases, debugging data, and project outcomes according to company standards.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience.
- Mandatory Python experience for insights.
- Experience designing, developing, simulating, testing, and validating automation solutions.
- Ability to develop functional, regression, performance, and non-functional test automation.
- Ability to perform backend/database programming.
- Ability to create technical specifications, resolve complex design issues, and track defects through mitigation.
- Ability to communicate effectively with testers, users, developers, clients, and internal stakeholders.
