Responsibilities
- Develop cloud-native platforms for distributing and processing real-time tick data.
- Design and architect high-throughput distributed systems with significant horizontal scalability.
- Build greenfield systems in a small, collaborative engineering team.
- Work with quantitative researchers and data scientists across QRT.
- Contribute to a strong engineering culture through communication, teamwork, and potential project leadership.
Requirements
- Four years of software engineering experience.
- Experience with distributed real-time systems.
- Systems design and architecture experience.
- Ability to write optimized, high-throughput code.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Kafka, high-performance Python tooling, C++ or Rust, modern data tooling, market data, SRE, or DevOps is advantageous but not required.
