Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Linux kernel drivers, userspace libraries, and software frameworks for networking, RDMA, storage, and AI infrastructure platforms.
- Architect, implement, and optimize Ethernet, RDMA/RoCE, NVMe, NVMe-oF, virtualization, transport acceleration, and scalable storage technologies.
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, architecture, and performance teams to enable next-generation platform capabilities.
- Analyze, benchmark, and optimize networking and storage software for throughput, latency, scalability, and resource efficiency.
- Debug complex system-level issues across operating systems, drivers, firmware, hardware, networking fabrics, storage systems, and distributed environments.
- Contribute to Linux open-source projects, upstream AMD technologies, architecture reviews, technology strategy, and engineering best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership for cross-functional initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong software development experience in C and C++ with a foundation in systems programming.
- Experience developing Linux kernel drivers, networking software, RDMA software, storage software, operating system components, or other low-level systems software.
- Strong knowledge of computer architecture, memory management, operating systems, concurrency, multithreaded programming, and performance optimization.
- Hands-on experience with high-performance networking, RDMA, storage, communication software stacks, AI or HPC workloads, and distributed training environments.
- Experience with Linux development tools, debugging, performance profiling, Git, CI/CD systems, automated testing, and software validation.
- Experience contributing to Linux open-source projects and collaborating with upstream communities is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated technical leadership and ability to drive cross-functional initiatives and influence software architecture decisions.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted software development, code generation, testing, debugging, and review workflows.
