Responsibilities
- Design public-cloud architectures with hands-on T Cloud Public experience.
- Build and manage secure cloud environments using VPC networking, IAM and federation, Kubernetes, container platforms, and infrastructure as code.
- Automate infrastructure and operational processes with Terraform, GitHub, Ansible, Packer, PowerShell, and Python, including remote API usage.
- Integrate infrastructure with continuous delivery processes and cloud orchestration tools.
- Assess, customize, troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain cloud technologies, platforms, and applications.
- Implement and support workload security products, container hardening practices, logging, and observability platforms.
- Design disaster recovery and high-availability architectures.
- Create audit-ready documentation and support C5, GDPR, and enterprise security compliance.
- Collaborate with customers and teams using modern collaboration tools in an agile environment.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience in IT or telecommunications.
- Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform or other hyperscaler platforms such as AWS or Azure is preferred.
- Strong expertise in public-cloud architecture, Linux, networking, VPC networking, IAM and federation, cloud security, Kubernetes, containers, observability, infrastructure as code, disaster recovery, and high availability.
- Terraform experience is mandatory.
- Experience with cloud engineering methods, cross-provider best practices, orchestration tools, continuous delivery, and infrastructure deployment and management.
- Proficiency with GitHub, Ansible, Terraform, Packer, PowerShell, and Python for process automation.
- Experience with containers, container orchestration systems, and hardening practices.
- Experience implementing, managing, and supporting security products that protect workloads.
- Experience with GitHub, JIRA, and Confluence in a collaborative environment.
- Minimum B2 German language knowledge for customer contact and fluent English.
- Ability to assess technical solutions and develop creative approaches.
