Base Salary

$140k - $200k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy customer-facing features across backend, web, and mobile.
  • Build tooling for onboarding, compliance, KYC/identity, and customer support workflows serving millions of users.
  • Use AI coding tools and the agentic development pipeline, and improve the associated automation.
  • Own the DevOps lifecycle for products, including building, validation, monitoring, and maintenance.
  • Contribute technical input to product planning, design, requirements, and tradeoff decisions.
  • Conduct code reviews for correctness, style, and information security.
  • Mentor engineers and contribute to technical direction, best practices, and engineering culture.
  • Independently resolve ambiguous, cross-cutting problems.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of software engineering experience building and maintaining production systems at scale.
  • Ability to work across backend services plus web and/or mobile layers.
  • Proficiency in a typed language such as TypeScript, Scala, Java, or Go, with JavaScript/TypeScript experience for web and mobile surfaces.
  • Experience building consumer-facing applications and understanding UX/UI and product considerations.
  • Fluency with AI coding tools and automation in daily development workflows.
  • Expertise in unit and integration testing and commitment to code quality and maintainability.
  • Ability to make thoughtful speed-versus-quality tradeoffs, collaborate across teams and time zones, manage dependencies, and handle competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience in crypto or fintech, onboarding, identity/KYC, compliance, or customer support tooling is preferred.
  • Experience operating AI agents or agentic workflows in production is preferred.
  • Familiarity with React, React Native, and cloud or microservices architecture is preferred.
  • Experience influencing product decisions with data and experimentation is preferred.
  • Leadership or mentoring experience, or strong interest in mentoring, is preferred.
