Responsibilities
- Break down customer problems into executable work for the engineer and team.
- Complete software development tasks independently from start to finish with high quality.
- Design new and existing product features.
- Build horizontally scalable enterprise software for Jamf Mobile Forensics.
- Expand Android threat detection to cover broader attack vectors.
- Communicate technical concepts to stakeholders and collaborate with Technical Communication, Support, Product, and Cloud teams.
- Mentor other engineers and lead within an agile team.
- Apply engineering best practices, testing and quality processes, and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Promote a respectful, inclusive, ethical, and collaborative workplace.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience developing enterprise-grade software.
- At least 5 years of demonstrated experience with Java, Spring Boot, SQL databases, multithreading, and position-relevant tools.
- Experience building enterprise-level software.
- Understanding of testing and quality assurance processes.
- Hands-on experience with AI-driven coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot and Cursor.
- Experience working within an agile organization.
- Understanding of build systems such as Jenkins or Bamboo.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively, build trust with customers and employees, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Apple platform experience.
- An associate degree is required; a four-year bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- A combination of relevant experience and education may be considered.
