Base Salary
$262k - $364k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead development of AI-generated content recommendation frameworks and agentic flows for Discover and Notifications.
- Build offline and online quality evaluation frameworks for LLMs covering factuality, freshness, and coherence.
- Use recommendation signals and feedback loops to improve AIGC system performance.
- Lead end-to-end personalization modeling across inventory quality, retrieval, ranking, user understanding, and budgeting predictions.
- Optimize ML inference and resolve system bottlenecks for low-latency, high-QPS global surfaces.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of software development experience.
- 7 years of experience leading technical project strategy, ML design, and work with industry-scale ML infrastructure.
- Experience building quality evaluation frameworks for large language models.
- Experience building and deploying recommendation system models for retrieval, prediction, ranking, personalization, search quality, and embeddings in production.
- Preferred: Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 5 years of technical leadership experience leading project teams and setting technical direction.
- Preferred: experience with advanced offline and online LLM quality evaluation frameworks, downstream recommendation signals, mentoring executive engineers, and broader ML strategy.
