Responsibilities
- Drive technical wins for complex enterprise workloads by conducting current-state discovery and designing modern cloud migration solutions.
- Collaborate with sales teams to develop winning strategies, translate business requirements, and deliver customer-tailored prototypes and functional solutions.
- Provide technical consultation, advise customers, and build long-term customer relationships.
- Direct pilot workload migrations, proof-of-concepts, demonstrations, and technical workshops for enterprise customers.
- Build reusable solutions and assets from customer engagement learnings with the Go-To-Market team.
- Document, prioritize, and drive resolution of customer feature requests and issues with product and engineering teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience with cloud-native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
- Experience with enterprise architectures and migration strategies involving Oracle, VMware, or SAP.
- Experience with cloud engineering, on-premises engineering, virtualization, or containerization platforms.
- Experience building product demonstrations and prototypes and presenting to technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
- Fluency in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English.
- Preferred experience with data center consolidation, relocation, migration, or virtualization projects.
- Preferred experience migrating, architecting, and developing software or infrastructure for scalable distributed systems.
- Preferred experience with configuration management tools such as Puppet, Chef, CFEngine, or Salt.
- Preferred experience with server, storage, network, routing, VPN, load-balancer, and firewall functions.
- Preferred experience migrating Linux workloads across private, public, or hybrid cloud environments.
- Preferred experience with business continuity, disaster recovery, and backup and restore approaches.
