Base Salary
$97k - $138k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop Java/JEE software modules and RESTful web services for Connected Car applications.
- Translate feature specifications into technical designs and implement new functionality.
- Collaborate with front-end and back-end developers, vendors, product owners, architects, and stakeholders.
- Provide technical guidance, troubleshoot issues, and support testing and deployment activities.
- Research emerging technologies and recommend architectural improvements for scalability and performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- At least 7 years of experience in software development, design, and architecture with Java/J2EE and database technologies.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, and Spring.
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design and web application development.
- Proficiency deploying applications on JBoss, WebLogic, or Tomcat and working with Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL.
- Preferred qualifications include Connected Car or IoT platform experience; Apache Camel or Mule ESB; Hadoop, Spark, or NoSQL; iOS or Android development; AWS or GCP; subscription billing and payment gateway integrations; SaaS billing workflows; and AWS or GCP certifications.
