Responsibilities
- Define system architecture for integration across diverse business and technical domains.
- Work hands-on with development teams to build application, integration, and reporting solutions and resolve complex issues.
- Design data entities and protocols supporting integration across systems.
- Develop testing approaches and test scripts for system integration, data, and report testing.
- Review team deliverables and enforce quality standards aligned with client and contract expectations.
- Coordinate analysis and design sessions covering application, data, integration, and reporting design.
- Translate solution designs into technical designs for Service Bus architecture.
- Assess infrastructure requirements and capacity and support platform decisions among IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS options.
- Evaluate technologies, develop proofs of concept, and select technology stacks for project requirements.
- Coordinate communication and activities across teams to ensure timely delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science, or equivalent experience.
- 15+ years of experience in the IT domain.
- At least 5 years of experience with Java 11 or later and 10+ years of technology project implementation or development experience.
- At least 5 years of architecture and design experience with large-scale enterprise applications.
- At least 2 years of team or project leadership experience in solution architecture, technical leadership, or similar roles.
- At least 2 years of experience designing event-driven and multi-layer applications.
- At least 2 years of experience with Java reactive programming such as Spring WebFlux or Project Reactor.
- At least 4 years of experience with microservices frameworks and development.
- At least 2 years of experience designing and developing with AWS services.
- Experience with distributed systems, messaging frameworks, enterprise service bus architecture, mobile app and backend integration, and business-to-business service design.
- Knowledge of caching, publish-subscribe architecture, OAuth, JWT, Spring Boot, Oracle, NoSQL backends, MQTT, webhooks, and WebSocket channels.
- Preferred experience includes large-scale integration or migration projects, performance tuning of microservices, AWS Cloud, and monolithic applications.
- Strong communication, customer relationship, organizational, presentation, technical documentation, and follow-through skills are preferred.
- AWS Cloud implementation knowledge is mandatory; MQTT/IoT integration and telematics experience are preferred, along with knowledge of AI tool integration and billing platforms.
