Base Salary
$97k - $138k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, debug, maintain, and operate connected-car telematics software applications.
- Translate telematics feature requirements into technical designs and high-quality deliverables with Product teams and stakeholders.
- Develop service-side and client-side code and database scripts capable of supporting high-volume transactions.
- Analyze and troubleshoot testing and production issues and deliver fixes in pre-production and post-production environments.
- Perform production issue triage, ticket creation and maintenance, ticket assignment, incident tracking, and vendor follow-up.
- Identify technical root causes, prepare root-cause-analysis documentation, and coordinate problem management and recurring problem-management meetings.
- Establish development environments and development guidelines, including design and code review checklists.
- Provide shared 24x7 coverage for P1 and P2 emergency incidents.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering, or a relevant field.
- At least 3 years of overall software development and testing experience, including at least 2 years in a similar role supporting and interfacing with management.
- Experience with Java, J2EE or .NET, database technologies, Spring REST, MyBatis, Oracle, JSON, JMS, and caching.
- Experience with Jenkins, Jira, SQL Developer, Eclipse, and Unix.
- Experience delivering web applications in complex, multi-tiered environments and using the software development life cycle.
- Experience with incident and issue management, problem solving, and root-cause analysis.
- Experience writing and maintaining technical designs, functional designs, and integration documentation using UML or EA.
- Preferred experience deploying applications on J2EE web or application servers such as JBoss, WebLogic, and Tomcat.
- Preferred experience with Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL, including complex database queries and SQL analysis and tuning.
- Understanding of service-oriented architecture versus microservices, object-oriented analysis and design, internet operation, and packet data protocols.
- Ability to work in complex technical projects with multiple vendors and demonstrate strong coordination, communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

- Salary range is $96,550 to $138,061.
- Shared 24x7 coverage schedule is required for P1 and P2 emergency incidents.
- Domestic and international travel is required.
