Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain efficient and reliable Kotlin backend code.
- Implement server-side logic and APIs for high-performance frontend interactions.
- Collaborate with product, frontend, and cross-functional teams to deliver roadmap features.
- Troubleshoot applications, optimize performance, and implement data security measures.
- Participate in the full development lifecycle, deployments, and code reviews.
- Keep current with industry trends, technologies, and software development practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Backend Engineer or in a similar role with strong Kotlin expertise.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
- Experience with microservices architecture and backend APIs.
- Hands-on experience with relational and non-relational databases.
- Knowledge of cloud services and deployment environments such as AWS or GCP.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, independent working, and teamwork skills.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication.
- Prior fintech experience is a plus.
