Responsibilities
- Lead the design and architecture of end-to-end technical solutions for client projects.
- Translate business requirements and user stories into technical specifications, architectural blueprints, and design documents.
- Evaluate technologies, platforms, and frameworks for scalability, security, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with development teams, project managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to deliver solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
- Conduct architectural reviews and audits to identify risks, performance bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
- Develop and maintain architectural documentation, reference architectures, design patterns, and technical standards.
- Monitor emerging technologies, industry trends, and architectural patterns.
- Participate in pre-sales presentations, solution demonstrations, and effort estimations.
- Act as a technical subject matter expert for clients and internal teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 8 years of software development experience, including 3–5 years in a Solution Architect or similar senior technical role.
- Experience designing and implementing complex enterprise-level solutions across cloud, data, applications, and integration domains.
- Strong understanding of architectural patterns and design principles.
- Proficiency in at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP; relevant certifications are highly desirable.
- Extensive experience with modern programming languages such as Java, Python, .NET, and Node.js, and their frameworks.
- Understanding of relational and NoSQL databases and data modeling.
- Experience with API design and management, integration patterns, and enterprise service bus solutions.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences and work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced agile environment.
- Consulting or client-facing experience is a plus.
