- Architect data synchronization frameworks using content-addressable storage, Merkle trees, and CRDTs.
- Lead performance tuning, debugging, and optimization of distributed software under resource-constrained and intermittently connected conditions.
- Apply threat modeling, secure key management, and cryptographic primitives and protocols in security-first designs.
- Collaborate with MLOps, Infrastructure, and Security teams to deploy AI components in restricted or air-gapped systems.
- Contribute to architectural design discussions and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain testing, observability, and validation practices supporting reliability and compliance readiness.
- Work with distributed-systems concepts including distributed hash tables, content identifiers, gossip protocols, DAGs, overlay networks, and NAT traversal.
Requirements
- 5–10+ years of experience with backend systems languages such as C++, C, Go, or Rust, depending on leveling.
- Experience with peer-to-peer or decentralized networking frameworks.
- Rust development experience is useful, but candidates can learn Rust while working in the role.
