Base Salary
$160k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and implementation of embedded firmware architecture.
- Develop low-level firmware in C/C++ for CPUs, DSPs, and microcontrollers.
- Implement and maintain bootloaders and secure boot flows.
- Develop device drivers for on-chip peripherals.
- Participate in pre-silicon firmware development and validation activities.
- Support post-silicon bring-up and peripheral testing.
- Debug hardware/firmware interactions using various tools.
- Collaborate with SoC architects to refine system components.
- Provide firmware input during design reviews.
- Integrate RTOS or bare-metal environments.
- Implement robust error handling and logging mechanisms.
- Contribute to manufacturing test firmware and production firmware.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in embedded firmware development for SoCs.
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems.
- Hands-on experience with SoC or board-level bring-up.
- Strong understanding of CPU architectures and memory systems.
- Experience collaborating with ASIC/SoC design teams.
- Demonstrated ability to debug complex hardware/firmware issues.
