Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, operate, and maintain software products.
- Take full-stack ownership by writing production-ready and testable code.
- Create scalable, reliable, performant technical designs aligned with architectural best practices.
- Analyze failures, propose design changes, and drive operational improvements.
- Conduct code reviews and provide guidance on engineering best practices and development procedures.
- Ensure product development follows compliance, security, and software reliability standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, product owners, scrum masters, third-party vendors, customers, and adjacent teams.
- Prioritize and size work for incremental delivery and communicate blockers or delays.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Generally a minimum of eight years of experience.
- Understanding of algorithms, data structures, architectural design patterns, and best practices.
- Ability to define and fulfill solutions requirements for end users.
- Effective problem-solving, analytical, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Preferred experience with software development lifecycle practices and DevOps principles.
- Preferred understanding of product features, user impact, domain objectives, business strategy, and technical strategy.
