Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and enhance full-stack Java applications across frontend and backend components.
- Modernize legacy application components using updated frameworks, architectures, and design patterns.
- Ensure application scalability, performance, reliability, high availability, and fault tolerance.
- Manage application source code through continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
- Implement application security concepts, automate security measures, and remediate vulnerabilities.
- Independently perform programming, project management, development, debugging, testing, and implementation assignments.
- Identify and resolve complex application and technical problems, including off-shift and weekend support issues.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, documentation, and architectural and technology-selection decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience developing Java applications for both frontend and backend systems.
- Strong experience with Angular, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and other Java frameworks.
- Experience with software design, analysis, programming, integration, debugging, testing, and implementation.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, relational databases, and SQL.
- Experience designing large-scale systems focused on performance, scalability, high availability, reliability, and fault tolerance.
- Experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot and applying AI or generative AI for automation.
- Experience implementing security concepts in application development and cloud deployment, including vulnerability remediation.
- Knowledge of AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
- Preferred experience in manufacturing or supply chain domains, DevOps practices, AWS services, security tools, Docker, or Kubernetes.
- Preferred AWS certification, such as AWS Certified Developer, and ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
