Responsibilities
- Develop, validate, benchmark, and release high-quality software features.
- Write clean code and unit tests, conduct code reviews, and resolve complex software issues.
- Monitor production systems, support on-call customer concerns, and lead postmortems with root-cause analysis.
- Identify software lifecycle and process improvements, including reliability, scale, and delivery improvements.
- Lead projects or medium-sized features from technical build through completion and coordinate cross-functional execution.
- Contribute to threat modeling, documentation, product roadmaps, and product innovation.
- Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance through reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree plus 7 years of related experience, or a master’s degree plus 4 years, or a PhD plus 1 year.
- Solid conceptual and practical knowledge in the primary technical job family and related technical job families.
- Experience working with a range of technologies.
- Ability to work independently, lead projects or features, collaborate cross-functionally, and mentor less-experienced engineers.
